I have been a Registered Nurse for 24 years. My background is varied but mainly encompasses Urgent/Unscheduled care, from A&E to Primary Care. During this time I have gained significant experience, I have become an Independent Prescriber and worked autonomously for over 10 years. I have been interested in Aesthetics for a long time now and once the opportunity arose I was fortunate to embark on my Level 7 training in 'Principles and Practice of Clinical Injectables' with MATA on Harley Street. What I enjoy most about Aesthetic practice is the very subtle interventions which can make a person look refreshed, rested and somehow uplifted. To see a person glow from the inside out and to know that you have helped to create that.
I will be offering treatments in fine lines and wrinkle relaxation. dermal fillers, skin boosters and IV/IM nutritional therapies.
I have been a qualified Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) for 18 years. No I'm not a Nurse! An ODP is a specialism of its own. I have experience of assisting with operations, recovering patients post operatively and met recently have worked in Intensive Care during COVID. However, mostly what I do is anaesthetics, this is my passion, I cover elective anaesthesia and emergencies, emergencies may be in Theatre or elsewhere in the Hospital. It is a busy, demanding but rewarding role.
I am required to do shift work including nights, we have no natural light in Theatre and my skin has become increasingly dry and dull. this led me to research treatments that could counteract this. I found skin boosters and have been completely blown away with the results. Not only aesthetically but the mental boost and positivity that they can bring. I have now completed my skin booster training and will be offering these treatments along with Intavenous Nutritional Therapies (IVNT).
